At the meeting held at the Ministry of Economy, opportunities for economic cooperation were discussed.
Deputy Minister of Economy Anar Akhundov met with the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Latvia, Co-chair of the Azerbaijan-Latvia Intergovernmental Commission, Armands Krauze.
During the meeting, the role of mutual official visits and held meetings in expanding relations between Azerbaijan and Latvia was emphasized. It was noted that the diversification of economic and trade relations is one of the priority directions of the economic agenda, and various mechanisms are being implemented to develop cooperation in this area. In this regard, the Intergovernmental Commission serves as an effective platform.
The parties discussed opportunities to expand cooperation in various sectors of the economy, including the agricultural sector, water management, and forestry.
