Within the framework of the "4SI Academy" and the implementation of the "National Program", citizens are increasingly applying for trainings related to artificial intelligence and data science.
Within the framework of the "4SI Academy – National Program", jointly initiated by the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4SIC) under the Ministry of Economy and the Education Development Fund under the Ministry of Science and Education, a total of 7,500 users have so far benefited from training on the online learning platform "Coursera".
Users have submitted a total of 40,000 training applications, out of which 11,000 have been successfully completed, and participants have been awarded international certificates. More than 25% of the enrolled and completed courses cover the fields of artificial intelligence and data science.
Within the framework of the 4IR Center (4SIM) program, the top 10 most-applied training courses on the platform by users have been identified.

Starting from April 1, the "National Program" aims to provide tens of thousands of citizens with free access to training courses on Coursera, the world's largest online learning platform, over the course of one year. The goal is to accelerate the transition to a digital economy in the country by developing knowledge and skills in Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies and supporting the preparation of qualified specialists for the labor market in this field.
Users can benefit from 8,000 courses on the online platform, offered by nearly 350 of the world's most prestigious universities and leading technology companies, including Oxford, Stanford, Yale, Duke, London, Edinburgh, Manchester, Michigan, Johns Hopkins, Illinois, Florida, Sydney, as well as “Microsoft,” “Google,” “Meta,” IBM, AWS, “Oracle,” “Gitlab,” “Intel,” SAP, “Salesforce,” and others. The platform offers training in areas such as 4IR technologies, artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data, data analytics, blockchain, cloud technologies, programming languages, as well as leadership, personal development, and communication. Under the “National Program,” the 2,500 most requested courses on the “Coursera” platform are accompanied by Azerbaijani subtitles with the help of artificial intelligence.
The platform offers nearly 2,300 training programs in artificial intelligence and data science, developed by leading technology companies such as IBM, Google, Deeplearning.AI, Microsoft, and prestigious educational institutions like Stanford, Pennsylvania, and Imperial College London.

It should be noted that last year, as part of the pilot project "4SI Academy," 10,000 individuals benefited from courses on the "Coursera" platform over the course of a year. Participants completed over 32,000 hours of courses, and a total of 4,200 international certificates were awarded to those who successfully completed the training. In 2024, the project won the "Outstanding Achievement Award 2024" in the "Artificial Intelligence Innovation" category at the "Coursera" company's competition.
