An exchange of views was held with Uzbekistan on the promotion of mutual investments, the implementation of joint projects, and the strengthening of business partnerships.
Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov held a video conference meeting with Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade Laziz Kudratov.
During the meeting, the special role of the political will of the heads of state, high-level visits, and meetings and events in the development of bilateral relations with friendly Uzbekistan was emphasized. It was noted that there is great potential for effective cooperation between the two countries in areas such as mutual investments, Azerbaijan's industrial zones—particularly the organization of joint food and industrial production in the Karabakh region. Efforts to realize these opportunities are ongoing.
The parties expressed satisfaction with the dynamic development of economic relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan and exchanged views on enhancing cooperation in the field of investments and the implementation of joint projects.
Within the framework of the meeting, a session of the Supervisory Board of the Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Investment Company was held. The discussions focused on the promotion of mutual investments and the strengthening of business partnerships.
