Industrial zones are a favorable mechanism in terms of expanding production in the country, substituting imports and creating new export opportunities.
So far, more than 8 billion manats of products have been produced in industrial zones, of which 2.6 billion manats (about 32.4%) have been exported.
In January-September of this year, more than 2.1 billion manats of products were sold by enterprises operating in industrial zones, of which 846.1 million manats were exported. Product sales by industrial zones increased by 41.5% and exports by 55.3% compared to the same period of 2021.
In this period, the specific weight of industrial zones in the production of non-oil industry products was 16.6%, and 33.3% in their export.
It should be noted that the products produced in the industrial zones were exported to more than 50 countries of the world.
