During the meeting held at the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan with representatives of the World Bank, the implementation status of the joint projects has been discussed.
Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov has held a meeting with Charles Cormier, the Regional Director for Infrastructure for the Europe and Central Asia region, and Rolande Pryce, the Regional Director for the South Caucasus at the World Bank.
The efficient cooperation of Azerbaijan with the World Bank was highlighted at the meeting. The significance of the Bank’s support for various areas of the country’s economy was emphasized.
The parties evaluated the implementation status of the joint projects. The initiatives in the sector of urban planning, the regional prospects of the Middle Corridor, city mobility, as well as opportunities to support the initiatives aimed at transitioning to renewable energy and the green economy were reviewed.
