Energy projects were discussed at the video conference with the Assistant Secretary of State for Economic, Energy, and Business Affairs of the United States of America.
Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov has held a video conference with Caleb Orr, the Assistant Secretary of State for Economic, Energy, and Business Affairs of the United States of America.
During the meeting, it was highlighted that Azerbaijan attaches great importance to expanding the relations with the United States. The parties noted that there is wide potential for deepening the economic collaboration between the two countries.
Various aspects of the Azerbaijan-U.S. economic partnership, as well as the strategic significance of the energy and business cooperation were emphasized at the meeting.
The parties also discussed the energy projects implemented in the South Caucasus and the Caspian region, gas transportation initiatives and opportunities to diversify the joint activities in this field.
