Minister of Economy, Co-Chairman of the Joint Commission between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State of Israel Mikayil Jabbarov has held a meeting with the delegation led by Zeev Elkin, the Minister at the Ministry of Finance of Israel, Co-Chairman of the Joint Commission.
At the meeting, the parties reviewed the current state and development prospects of the economic cooperation between the two countries. Views were exchanged on the relevant issues on the economic collaboration agenda.
It was noted that the efficient use of the existing potential can contribute to further deepening the economic partnership between Azerbaijan and Israel and increasing mutual investments and the trade turnover.
During the discussions, opportunities to promote the mutual activities in energy, trade, investment, agriculture, digitalization, innovation, logistics and other areas were emphasized. The parties also discussed the expansion of the cooperation across the priority directions identified at the 4th session of the Azerbaijan – Israel Joint Commission.
