Businessmen from Türkiye visited the Aghdam Industrial Park.
Business representatives from Türkiye’s Iğdır province, who are on a visit to our country, got acquainted with the work carried out at the Aghdam Industrial Park.
The businessmen from Iğdır province of Türkiye, currently visiting Azerbaijan, were introduced to the Aghdam Industrial Park. Chairman of the Board of the Economic Zones Development Agency, Seymur Adıgözəlov, briefed the delegation about the work carried out in the liberated territories, the incentives and exemptions offered to investors, and the projects being implemented.
It was noted that the priority areas of the industrial park, which covers 190 hectares, include the production of construction materials, packaging of agricultural products, production and processing of fruit and vegetable preserves, meat and dairy products, feed and fertilizers, as well as the establishment of service facilities, cold storage chambers, and more.
Currently, the industrial park has granted residency status to 28 business entities with an investment portfolio exceeding 260 million manats, while 4 entrepreneurs have been granted non-resident status. Nine enterprises are already operating in the park, and work is underway to establish additional enterprises.
So far, more than 115 million manats have been invested by entrepreneurs in the development of the industrial park, creating over 650 permanent jobs.
Products manufactured in the industrial park are not only sold on the domestic market but are also exported.
During the meeting, Turkish businessmen were invited to take advantage of the existing business opportunities at the Aghdam Industrial Park.
The guests were also acquainted with the work carried out in the Aghdam Industrial Park and visited the operations of “Bafco Invest” LLC, a resident of the park engaged in the production of various types of footwear.
