During the meeting, it was emphasized that Azerbaijan-Turkiye relations, based on mutual respect, friendship, and brotherhood, are developing steadily. The "Shusha Declaration on Allied Relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Turkiye," signed by the heads of state, promotes our high-level partnership.
Economic and trade relations with Turkiye are expanding. Turkiye is our country’s second largest trade partner. The Preferential Trade Agreement signed between the governments contributes to the expansion of trade relations. Cooperation in the field of investment is also strengthening. Joint projects are being implemented in our territories liberated from occupation. Effective cooperation with the brotherly country is being carried out in the fields of industry, technology, private sector, transport, agriculture, pharmaceutical production, supply of medical equipment, tourism, and other areas.
During the meeting, information was provided about the favorable business environment in our country, opportunities created for investors, and business prospects in our liberated territories. Turkish entrepreneurs, including businesspeople from Igdır, were actively invited to cooperate.
The parties evaluated opportunities to strengthen cooperation among business representatives and to implement joint initiatives.
