An exchange of views was held on strengthening cooperation with Dagestan in the fields of trade, investment, SMEs, industry, and other areas.
A meeting was held at the Ministry of Economy between First Deputy Minister of Economy Elnur Aliyev and a delegation led by Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Dagestan of the Russian Federation, Rizvan Gazimagomedov.
During the meeting, the mutually beneficial relations with the Russian Federation, including its federal subjects, were highlighted, and the prospects for economic cooperation were emphasized. It was noted that the favorable business and investment environment created in Azerbaijan, as well as the significant economic potential of the liberated territories, open up new opportunities for regional cooperation, including with the subjects of the Russian Federation. The geographical proximity to Dagestan further enhances the conditions for expanding cooperation.
The parties also emphasized the importance of developing relations between business communities in realizing economic potential.
The meeting featured a presentation on Dagestan’s investment potential, and an exchange of views was held on strengthening cooperation in trade, investment, SMEs, industry, and other areas.
