The expansion of cooperation in the energy sector with the European Union was discussed.
The Minister of Economy, Mikayıl Jabbarov, together with the President of SOCAR, Rovshan Najaf, met with Dan Jorgensen, the European Commissioner for Energy and Housing.
The meeting highlighted that the European Union is one of Azerbaijan's main foreign trade partners. It was noted that both sides are interested in the development of mutual relations, including economic, energy, and investment cooperation.
The parties discussed the promotion of the transition to green energy and regional initiatives, as well as opportunities for expanding cooperation in the energy sector with the European Union.
