More than 2,300 jobs will be created by a newly registered resident of the Mingachevir Industrial Park.
The Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan joint venture "Textile Horizon" LLC has been granted resident status in the Mingachevir Industrial Park, which is managed by the Agency for the Development of Economic Zones under the Ministry of Economy.
As part of the project, enterprises will be built on the territory of the Industrial Park to produce yarn, fabric, and clothing, thus forming the first-ever textile cluster in our country.
In the enterprises where advanced technologies from countries such as Germany, Switzerland, Spain, and Turkey will be applied, 11.6 thousand tons of yarn, 7.3 thousand tons of raw fabric, 6.2 thousand tons of dyed fabric, and 11.8 million pieces of sewing products (clothing) will be produced annually.
The project, with an investment value of 153 million AZN, is expected to create more than 2,300 permanent jobs.
In addition to the sale of the produced goods in the domestic market, their export will also be carried out.
The project is planned to be commissioned in 2027.
