The delegation led by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batir Atdayev, co-chairman of the joint Intergovernmental Commission on economic and humanitarian cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan visited the grave of national leader Heydar Aliyev in the Alley of Honor and laid a wreath in front of the monument. The Turkmen delegation also laid a wreath in front of the "Eternal Torch" complex, commemorating the dear memory of Azerbaijani heroes who gave their lives for the country's independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan in Martyrs' Alley.
The 6th meeting of joint Intergovernmental Commission on economic and humanitarian cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan was held. Co-chairman of the commission, Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov put up that Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan relations based on friendly and brotherly relations are developing successfully, and our country attaches importance to the expansion of partnership with Turkmenistan.
Detailed information was provided on the business and investment attractiveness of our country, and Turkmen investors were invited to active cooperation at the event.

The document was signed by the co-chairmen of the Commission - Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov and Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batir Atdayev. The document envisages strengthening cooperation in economic-trade, energy, transport, agriculture and food security, urban planning and architecture, as well as other areas.
