· IFAD is present in five regions and across 92 countries, with 51 field offices (located in 49 countries), focusing its efforts where poverty and hunger are most severe.

· Since its establishment, IFAD has provided loans and grants amounting to 24 billion $, benefiting approximately 78,6 million people worldwide.

Information about cooperation between Azerbaijan and the organization

· On 11 April 1994, the Agreement on Accession between the Republic of Azerbaijan and IFAD was signed, and Azerbaijan officially commenced cooperation with the organization in 1997.

  • Sovereign loans were attracted for 5 projects and all projects have been completed.
