Anar Adalat oglu Akhundov
Was born in 1975.
In 1996, graduated from Azerbaijan State University of Economics with a degree in economics.
Began his career at Baku Interbank Currency Exchange and subsequently worked in various commercial banks.
In 1999-2004 worked as a senior specialist, the head of the unit and the head of the department at the State Committee for Securities under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
In 2004-2006 worked as the head of the Stock Market Development Department and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Baku Stock Exchange.
In 2006-2009 served as the Executive Director of Azerbaijan Investment Company.
In 2009-2014 worked as the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors at “Bank Standart” CJSC.
In 2014-2022 served as the head of the department at the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
In 2022 was appointed as a member of the Supervisory Board of the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in accordance with the Order of the head of state.
In accordance with the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated April 16, 2024, was appointed as the Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Married, has 2 children.
